Most of the time when people smoke it is because they are idle for example during breaks at work. If you are trying to stop smoking you should start by getting alternative equally captivating healthy things that you can do during your spare time so that you are not tempted to smoke. You can start working out, or concentrate on a hobby like candle making or cooking. If you have quit smoking and you were used to holding a cigarette, you can pick a pencil or a pen and play with it so you do not feel awkward about not having a cigarette in your hand. The final step is to involve family and friends to help you stay away from smoking. Trying to stop smoking without help and support from loved ones is very difficult.
