| Above Grade Builders was founded by Scott Howard. He was raised in Williamsburg and Virginia Beach. During summers, he spent his time in the sea, swimming, fishing and sometimes plain boating. He finished school at the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. After a while, he went back to Wilmington to fulfill his childhood dream to build customized homes in the coastal towns of North Carolina. Scott Howard spent 3½ years working for the areas most respected and renowned builder in making renovations of old houses as well as construction of new ones. He did quite well in this field until he finally decided to start his own company and lead a new team who specialized in customizing houses around the seacoasts – The Above Grade Builders.
