Motherhood is a dream of every young woman at one time during their life. . The thought of bringing forth a child into the world and loving it is quite divine. The problem is that most of these young women overlook the changes that come with motherhood. For instance, most of them find it hard dealing with the change in their body shapes, the nausea, morning sickness and vomiting while pregnant. Adjusting to such changes may become a challenge but vital information will come in handy during this time and help them cope with all the physiological and physical changes. The first major problem women especially first time mothers experience is tiredness. Tiredness in pregnancy is caused by a number of reasons. This is mainly because the body is in constant movement during the process of developing a placenta for the baby. This happens mostly in the morning causing morning sickness. The hormone levels and metabolism are changing very fast and sugar levels and blood pressure tend to be lower hence causing nausea and vomiting while pregnant. The best remedy for this is taking rests while eating a balanced diet. This diet mainly consists of mostly fruits and vegetables that are rich in Iron. Iron Deficiency Anemia is the most common cause of tiredness because the developing pregnancy uses up the Iron stores. Then there are physical changes that occur in a pregnant woman’s body. Apart from the morning sickness, nausea and vomiting while pregnant, the woman starts dealing with the changes in her body like swelling of abdomen breasts. Such body changes are normal because this way the body preparing and responding to support the baby that is growing within it. Hormonal changes cause the breasts to grow even bigger to prepare for breast feeding. The breasts usually feel full, heavy or tender and by the third trimester, some pregnant women start to leak colostrums from their breasts. A majority of women normally experience mild swelling in the face, hands and legs at some point in their pregnancy. Motherhood is not complete without the many pregnancy worries. When a first time mother experiences nausea, morning sickness and vomiting while pregnant, she tends to get worried and may at times consult a doctor only to find that these are normal symptoms of pregnancy. The other common question women tend to ask is whether it is safe to have sexual intercourse while they are pregnant. Experts say there is no problem with engaging in sexual intercourse while pregnant but when bleeding occurs during coitus she may consult a doctor. This is because the problem might be pathological. Hair treatment is not advised during the first trimester as in this period one is more vulnerable to miscarriage. It is such experiences in motherhood that help develop a bond between the mother and her baby throughout their lifetime. A mother realizes that she needs to be able to sacrifice a lot to bring new life into the world. This way this encourages despite the morning sickness, nausea and vomiting while pregnant. It is such experiences that enhance the joy of motherhood and the willingness of a mother to go through the experience many more times.
