| The best way to learn Chinese is to be part of a Chinese immersion program in China. You will be able to travel the country and get to experience all there is to experience firsthand. You will need to find a college or a university that offers the program. A lot of the time, it happens that you are required to take some classes like, the art and culture of China, Mandarin/Cantonese 101. Many of those students end up being in foreign exchange program. It is always nice to make association with those people because once you are go on those trips it makes it easier when you know someone who you have already spent some time with. To be able to share the laughter and the tears are a great thing. Once you have completed those classes you will have some backgrounds one what it is like to travel to China. It is never frown upon to do more research. The more that you do, the better you are prepared in the event that something does not go as planned. It is also comforting to know what there is to offer around you so you can fully take advantage of the sites. When you are in a group, all your immersion classes and tours are planned out. Most dinners are too. Even if you have free time, it would be wise to plan them out carefully. Look at what season you are going into and what region you are in. Don’t be afraid to go on unguided tours with the people you know. It will help you further your practice of the language by forcing you to talk to the locals and maybe even see things from a different perspective. Chinese immersion program in China are great that way. They will let you explore and totally immerse yourself in the culture. The experience you will have gained will be quite rewarding. You will be able to do business in China, which right now, is booming. You can work with major companies who need people to fly in and out of China. Not only that, the Chinese language is popular in other parts of Asia. With its large population around the world, you will be able to better communicate with them. The job possibilities are endless. If you have truly fallen in love with the country, you can even open up your own business. Since there has been no recession and if you are business savvy you can build a reputable business.
