Tarang is an NGO based in India that was created by likeminded people with a mission to make a difference in the world. This India NGO was formed to educate each and every child on this planet. As of now, they are designing programs that they are planning to use with different projects inside and around Mumbai to start with. The different projects the India NGO is undertaking includes influencing results in night school, sponsoring children who cannot afford to go to school, inspiring children to attend school, providing kids with different facilities that will aid them in completing their academic studies and make them self reliant. There are a number of children that are caught up in various responsibilities and they are therefore unable to attend school during the daytime. They are too busy juggling their responsibilities that they are unable to attend school and get a decent education. The India NGO has designed a project known as Daayitva. This project is tailor made for those children who dropped out of school to take up various responsibilities. This project by the India NGO is meant to enroll the dropouts in night schools to enable them better their lives by getting a decent education. The idea behind ‘Daayitva’ was conceived by the India NGO in order to enrich the general quality of education in night schools. There was certainly the need to take education to a higher notch in night schools. The general idea was to increase the number of attendees and also improve academic performance in a positive light. The India NGO discovered that the reason for poor attendance to these night schools is mainly lack of enough food. To deal with this issue, they started ‘Food Seva’ in order to provide the kids with enough food, encouraging high attendance. This move made a tremendous difference, and the attendance has been extraordinary since then shooting up by about 50%. The India NGO has partnered with M/s Rashmi Foods Pvt Ltd, in their quest to ensure that they provide the children with the best quality food. M/s Rashmi Foods Pvt Ltd is a licensed caterer who has a wealth of experience and is very well known for quality services. You can rest assured that not only is the food hygienic but it is also tasty. The India NGO has ensured that the food Seva is available in all night schools. The India NGO has ensured that the night schools are well equipped to provide quality education. They are equipped with libraries, laboratories and other resources crucial to education. Daayitva is committed to improving the quality of education with focus on optimal infrastructure. The India NGO is now in the process of partnering with five night schools to generate education awareness. They are opened to slum children who want a decent education. The educational NGO in Mumbai is in a bid to reach out to provide quality education to slum children. Govind Agarwal is the author of this article on Free education in India .
